Last friday we went for a little surfing Alex, Rudy and I. At first we went to check a spot somewhere on the BZH North shore before crossing down to the South shore. Nice swell, amazing weather, just a few guys at the line-up.
After a good hour of surf I took a few pictures. It would have been much better with a waterproof case.

- Oh Romeo, Romeo! Wherefore are thou Romeo? Deny thy father and refuse thy name;
- Yeah right-o sweety, but don’t you mind handing over the wrench?

A nice swell hit the coast this week-end, at last good proper fall surf!

I took a few pictures before and after going surfing.

Usually when I see a TV commercial about heaven know what cleaning stuff, I have a good laugh seeing the state of dirt of the kitchen/WC/bathroom supposed to display how powerful the new “Cif 4 in one with extra LSD” is.
I should have known that making fun of something/someone is bad, very bad. Just to remind me Mrs Nature has decided to have a good laugh at me. This is what we saw today, in the kitchen sink… (and just before you ask, yes, we do clean regularly the house)

A few days ago I went for a little walk around where we live. We live moreless in the middle of the fields, a few minutes walk from the Leguer valley. Walking alonside the river and across the forest I ended up arriving to the Chapelle de Kerfons.

Yesterday we had a little boat trip to go and watch birds at the Sept îles natural reserve. The reserve is located on a set of five island a few miles from the coast of Perros-Guirec (Britanny, France). Yes, “sept îles” does mean “seven island”, so why five? Well, go and ask the francisation maniac who a few decades/centuries ago missspelt the original breton spoken name “jentilez” into “sentilles” which became “sept” after a while…
The reserve is one of the three main breeding zone for Northern Gannets, several thousand couples nest there every year.

The archipelageo is also a breeding zone for cormorants, puffins, and also grey seals. Cormorants can be watch all year round, but puffins are there only from april to july. Seals are there all year round but are best seen at low tide when they beach themselves on rocks to digest in the sun.

Last friday, august 15th, took place the 8th edition of the Breiz Surfing Association Paddle Classic paddbleboard race.

Since I was competing I didn’t take pictures during the race, but I did a few quick shots before, when everybody was getting ready.

Welcome on my new website.
I’ve tried to make it nice and simple, blogroll on one side, galleries on the other.
Enjoy!
