A few bugs have been fixed and two new features have been added:

  • editable list of cameras
  • editable list of measurement units

If your camera isn’t in the list, just find its CoC value online and add it to the presets! Same for measurement units, if you don’t like metric or imperial system (I don’t know what system is used on Kronos or Discworld), add your own!

Yeah!

The source code is also hosted at Google Code now too, feel free to check it out from the repository and play around with it. It’s Apache 2.0 licenced.

No, don’t run away, I’m not going to paste huge rolls of source here for you to drible in front of.

I’ve coded a little app for Android phones that should fall in handy for geek photographers. It’s called Strawberry and it calculates for you depth of field and hyperfocal. All you have to do is slide a few stuff, and read the ouput.

The application is available here and for those interessed the source code is available here. Everything is under Apache 2.0 Licence.

You might also try Romain Guy’s Shutterspeed android app which is very usefull when you want to work with long exposures in Bulb mode.
