Marc PoppletonI’m Marc Poppleton, 34 and raising and I work as an IT engineer for Orange Labs in Lannion, France.

Among many other things I like photography. Fond of landscape photography, I take pictures of places I live in and where I trip whenever I find the occasion. Surfer I also try to take pictures when I go surfing.

My gear is composed of a few good reliable lenses and a basic DSLR, miles from any semi-pro photographers quiver, but here it is:

  • Canon EOS 300D SLR with a hacked ROM
  • Canon EF 50mm f/1.8
  • Canon EF L USM 17-40 f/4
  • Canon EF L USM 24-70 f/2.8
  • Canon EF L USM 70-200 f/4
  • A bunch of Cokin neutral, colored, plain and gradual filters
  • A grip and extra batteries
  • A cheap tripod and remote control
  • A few photo helper apps for my Android phone.

My workflow relies on Adobe Lightroom which I use at every step of my processing.
